Information We Collect

FloodZone.fyi collects minimal information to provide its service. When you perform a flood zone lookup, we process the address or GPS coordinates you provide to return flood zone data. We do not store your address or location data after your session ends.

How We Use Information

Address and location data you submit is used solely to query FEMA's National Flood Hazard Layer API and return results to you. We do not sell, share, or retain this data. If you purchase a premium report, your payment information is processed securely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.

Cookies and Analytics

We may use analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site in aggregate. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally. We may also serve advertising through Google AdSense, which uses cookies to show relevant ads.

Third-Party Services

FloodZone.fyi uses the following third-party services: FEMA NFHL API (flood data), Google Maps Geocoding API (address lookup), Stripe (payment processing), and Vercel (hosting). Each service has its own privacy policy governing their data handling.
